These 2D and 3D cellular detonation models won the Gordon Bell Prize at Supercomputing 2000. The 2D results are described in this journal paper. Additional 2D visualization are avaliable here and additional 3D visualization are avaliable here. The composition is pure carbon and the density is 107 g cm-3
